I LOVE a dress-up party. I love dressing up - all the time - any day - any costume - any excuse will do! I made this outfit for a Studio54 theme party – 10/10 theme, seeing everyone in their disco pants was GREAT! Although this is honestly barely a costume, I would wear this again to a regular party//to work/to the supermarket… Will definitely get a lot of wear out of these pants. I worked really hard on the fit, and I’m super happy with how they turned out… I think in my old age I am becoming a crazy sewing cat lady – working on fits all day and doing the same thing over and over until I’m happy with it.

 

I loved wearing this because the pants are SO shiny (photos don’t do them justice!). The top is also super shimmery and the trim dangles and is super fun to dance in! I should really see what this looks like outside in daylight, the shine is probably blinding and illegal.

 

The inspiration for this look came from fashion ICON Cher, so here’s a quote from the Queen herself that I love and live by:
